Actuarial Internship

Job Description:

We are a growing actuarial consulting firm that primarily partners with medical insurance companies. Our team supports clients with both day-to-day actuarial needs and larger strategic initiatives, providing analytical expertise and dependable solutions in a collaborative environment. We looking for an Actuarial Intern who is eager to learn, grow professionally, and gain hands-on experience in the actuarial consulting industry. This internship offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment alongside experienced actuaries, contributing to meaningful client projects while developing valuable technical and professional skills. 

This role is a great opportunity for a current student in applying analytical and problem-solving skills in a real-world business setting. Beyond technical abilities, we value teamwork, communication and reliability. We are looking for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented and excited to contribute to a supportive, close-knit team where your work will have a meaningful impact from day one. 


Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities. 

Compensation: $20-25/hour based on experience. 

Location: 14358 N FLWB Scottsdale, AZ 85260

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills 
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and general data analysis tools 
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the actuarial and insurance industry

Preferred Experience:

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Some experience in data analysis, financial reporting, ratemaking, and reserving concepts
  • Basic Excel skills 
  • Power BI, SQL, Python, R, and other programming languages preferred, but not required
